We’re proud to bring you a website that not only offers a wide variety of trains and accessories, but also allows our users to experience the ease of shopping on the web. We’ve added a new navigation bar, located in the upper right hand corner which lists our individual websites. From there, you can navigate from one site to another. You’ll notice we’ve redesigned the Trainz Store homepage with a red header and given the category tree on the left hand side of the page a black background. The top of the page will soon list “What’s New” and current offerings, below that is our Featured items section and further down the page is our category section. In the upper right hand corner underneath the yellow navigation bar you will see a “Search by Manufacturer” drop down menu. This is a quick & convenient way for you to search product by a particular manufacturer. If you are looking for a specific model number or phrase, you can enter it into our search box and click on GO. If you run your mouse over the tabs at the top of the page which read About Trainz.com, Pre-Order Store, Trainz Community and Our Newsletter you’ll see that each one has a separate menu that drops down. The Preorder website is nearly identical, but keep in mind it is a completely separate site with a separate checkout system. You’ll notice that the top of the screen is green and says Trainz Preorder in the left hand corner of the page. This site offers all of our current items available for preorder. The TCA Train Meet in York, PA has it all, including guests Jerry Calabrese and Mike Wolf who have previously spoken at The National Toy Train Museum, during the meet. What’s the best way to view Trainz?
Did you know that if you set your computers resolution to 1024 x 768 or higher, you will view the Trainz website at its very best. Right click on your desktop and click properties, then select the settings tab and scroll the arrow to 1024 x 768 pixels or higher. Hit “OK” and you are done! Or you can go to Start, Settings, Control Panel, and then Display. Everything will now fit conveniently on your screen, no more scrolling back and forth for those of you who were set at a lower resolution.
